Job Description

Accounts Receivable Specialist provides administrative support of Accounts Receivable including daily cash postings and deposit reconciliations.  (with or without reasonable accommodation)  



  • Responsible for cash posting for multiple insurance payors, processing and reconciliations.      

  • Duties include daily posting of cash receipts to various AR systems including HCHB and MAS90 for trade accounts and donations. 

  • Updates and maintains daily deposit and unposted cash reconciliations.

  • Create Wellness/Flu invoices. 

  • Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of process and procedures for system use.1-2 years of accounts receivable experience required; medical cash posting experience highly preferred .


EXPERIENCE


High School or equivalent



  • Must previous experience in high volume and fast paced environment.Knowledge of basic accounting principles and basic math skills. 

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and ExcAble to 10-key and type by touch with speed and accuracy. 

  • High degree of organizational skills to include managing deadlines appropriately and having keen attention to detail.

  • Collaborate in a team environment with the Controller, billing staff and other team members on a regular basis.

  • Adhere to HIPAA, patient confidentiality and compliance requirements at all times.Ability to create and follow written procedures.
